As I guy, I cannot say I would recommend the first "You are so annoying" text. It can work in person or on a phone call, but in text format, where you have no body language or tone of voice to add context to the line, there is no way to know if that was sent as a joke or not. It is just asking to create missunderstandings.

Anyone else feel like it's a potential waste of time to try dating right now? I texted back and forth with a guy for nearly 2 weeks, video call, etc and then cut him off.
