BRAKES PULL TO ONE SIDE If your
vehicle suddenly swerved to one side when you apply the brakes, there is
uneven braking side-to-side. This usually means one front brake is not
working properly. The pull will be toward the side with the good brake
(because it is doing all the work). Brake pull can be caused by brake
fluid, oil or grease on the brake pads, a stuck caliper, a blockage in
the brake line to one of the front calipers, or sometimes loose wheel
bearings. A brake pull can also be caused by different types/brands of
brake pads side-to-side on the front brakes. Different friction
materials have different friction characteristics, so the brakes will
pull toward the side that generates the most friction.

@calk87 oh, come on now, this is an old beater car, and it was starting to rain so I was in a hurry.

I love how you pour the brake fluid in 😂 ✌🏼

As someone who’s not mechanically inclined and learning everything on their own this definitely helped me. Thank you.

Hey Scotty, thought I'd add a quick comment on your video for your subscribers.

Be careful when putting brake fluid in your car, brake fluid destroys clear coat, and if you get it on your hood or fenders you can ruin your paint!

Nice video, and thanks for the info!

@jonathanyip343 As I've already said, it started raining and I was in a hurry on that old thing.

2:36 Brake fluid is corrosive & will attack paint, your handling the paintwork with dirty gloves. Then you spash fluid everywhere when you refill the resevoir. :O

@GraniteBees not always, it pulled to the left on that road the way it was pitched as that wheel continued to move on the left following the drainage of the road. which side pulls where is always dependant on many variables. that's why you check both sides before doing any work.

Awesome video Scotty! I've watched every single one and I love reading comments from people that say you are doing something wrong. Yeah like they know more then someone with 44 years of experience right? I bet most of the people that leave stupid comments aren't even 44 years old!
