DJI Mini 3/Mini 3 Pro SD Cards: How to Insert, Eject, and Format

This is a step-by-step tutorial showing how to insert and eject the micro-SD card, as well as format SD cards for both the Mini 3 Pro drone and the DJ RC.

**Note** In the video it was mentioned to insert the SD card into the DJI RC with the pins facing up. this was based on the orientation of the RC being turned upside down (face down). If the screen is right-side up, then the SD card would be inserted with the pins facing down.

I use a pair of tweezers to remove the partially ejected card from the drone.
Also you should use the "eject" command on the RC controller's Quick Settings" screen before pulling the card from the controller.

Hello! Thank you for your video! My DJI Mini 3 Pro does not have the option to chose between Internal Storage and SD card and this was a problem because before I understood about formating, I lost files because my storage was full. The thing is the files seem to have been saved in the internal storage instead of the SD card and I do not know how to change that since I can't see this option that you described in your video. Any ideas, please?

Useful information, but there's a mistake: in the RC, the sd card must be inserted with the pins pointing DOWN.

I just took ownership tonight of my new Mini 3 Pro. I did not realize an SD card was needed for the controller. Totally missed that. I may try to use it for a while without one. Or are they interchangeable, meaning I could store an extra Micro SD in the controller and move it into the drone? TY!
