I'm using a Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 (25-105mm full-frame) on my FX30, I bought it just only $500 (used), it's sharp and the auto focus is perfect. For me it's a great choice for an all-purpose lens.

Sony 18-105 f4 my favorite all around APSC lens. It’s incredible. So good I had to get two, one for each camera. It’s a beast on my fx30. So much versatility

Bit off topic but I’d love to see your editing process in FCP. I just got FCP and for some reason I cannot for the life of me get it to work with multiple frame rates in the same timeline. Would be great to see a tutorial with multiple frame rates to slow down and speed up footage etc

Excellent lens comparison. Definitely some great choices there. I happen to have the Viltrox 24mm f/1.8 lens, and like its other lenses it's very sharp and fast with my Sony FX30. I also have the Sigma 16mm f/1.4, which also works perfectly with my camera.

I just traded in 2 Sony ZVEV10 and a bunch of stuff for the FX30. I have 1 lens which is the Sigma 18-50mm and am thinking of getting a wider angle lens. Wanted your opinion on whether the 11mm Sony with the clear image zoom makes it a effectively a 11-16.5mm zoom is a better option than either the 11-20mm tamron or the 10-20 Sony PZ. The size is the biggest selling point.

Not even one of the Sigma 1.4 Trio? Sorry but can't take this seriously. They have been considered one of the best APS AF lenses for years.
