The super35 50mm was a mistake for me. I like it but 50mm is still way too tight for most things, and 1.33x just doesn't feel like enough to me. This or the 24mm are very enticing but I think I'd still go for some kind of 1.6x or 2.0x in the future.

I'm in the same frame of mind as another comment here - how much better is an anamorphic lens over framing the scene appropriately and cropping to suit. Simple stuff to do and helped by settings like those out of a GoPro.
Everyone keeps going on about 'CINEMATIC', but who is it really for?
To me, cinematic is Lawrence of Arabia or something from Sergio Leone - where the cinematic aesthetic is more than just the output of a lens.
Reverse engineering an epic scene is something of interest. This is the result, but let's go back and see how it was done - as opposed to "here's an anamorphic lens for your iPhone, now go and make cinematic content."
The creative process is the stumbling point, not the availability of bling!
