The world is bizarre, this is a person who makes honest, professional, and unique videos content. He has less than 1M Subs in 13 years. And there are some dudes out there who make videos to say nonsense such as "how to make $10000 in 10 minutes by doing nothing", and they gain Millions of views and subs. You're just the best and most unique content creator I love to watch regarding cameras and lenses. Thanks for all day's help, Kaleb.

The value in those videos is insane. Every time you release a video it seems like it influences the indie beginner trend. Thanks for the work you put in those.

The 16mm f/1.4 is probably the greatest lens I have ever owned. That 7Artisian line-up looks amazing too!!

All these lenses will now be out of stock 😂

my favourite for the FX30 is the sigma 18-50mm as well. Can't beat that form factor and bang for your buck!

The sigma 18-50mm is all that I use. Believe the hype, it’s an absolute game changer

I have the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 for my FX30, which works great. I also have the Viltrox 24mm f/1.8, which works perfectly with the A7iv and FX30. It seems the f/1.4 version is the one with problems. The 23mm f/1.8 has no focusing issues at all. In fact, very quick and accurate.

That Sigma 18-55mm f/2.8 looks like a winner. And the Viltrox Cine lenses look great.

Thanks for this video. It really helped me make some important decisions on lenses for my FX30.

FX30 is my new cinema camera and I love it! Can't wait for more FX30 content. It's the most underrated camera right now! I am gonna pick up the 7artisans!

would love to see an episode on using broadcast glass for cinema some time, the idea of being able to do super fast crash zooms with the parfocal constant sharpness would be really interesting, and the wide zoom ranges would be really convenient for people who prefer few high quality lenses over many cheaper lenses.

I have the Tamron 17-70 on my FX30. I personally like the larger size, however it’s still a fairly small lens. It just looks a lot bigger when it’s side by side with the Sigma. I think the Tamron is worth it for the extra reach, especially if you shoot interviews frequently. 70mm at 2.8 gives a very nice look. Another lens worth considering is the Tamron 11-20mm 2.8. It’s a great compliment to the 17-70. And of course, there’s the Tamron 70-180, which I’d like to get in order to cover the full range.

Caleb is always bringing the heat. I never knew about that Viltrox 13mm. That's an interesting one. I own 17-70 tamron and love it, and I own all 3 Sigma primes and equally love those as well. I can't believe how inexpensive they are considering the quality. Also, I really like your set and how you film your product shots. Top Tier work as always.

The Sony 18-105 f4 is amazing as well for consistent video shooting. That plus the Sigma 16mm are my go-to's

I just bought my FX30 yesterday and found your channel and video - so freaking helpful! Already scored a Sigma 16mm f1.4 and I'm checking in the MF lenses. Thank you for making the effort to put together a no-nonsense, easy to follow video that is clear, concise and valuable. L&S

There can be a bit of gear gatekeeping in photography/cinematography. Mostly just out of buyer's remorse that modern budget $500 lenses can compete so closely with lenses costing 10x more.

Don't be afraid of budget lenses. They are often shockingly good. I've got an 85mm Rokinon cine that has absolutely no business being as tack sharp as it is.

Get a budget wide angle and 50mm (or zoom) and you're off to the races.with next-level production value.

Nice low budget options here.
I'm studying all low budget options for my xt4 rig. I have a Mitakon 35mm .95 and my analog Pentax lenses + a very good Pentax zoom for APSC but I always come across tiny problems like small diameter, too compact or that extending barrel, all those could in the near future cause issues like the inability to mount a follow focus, or a matte box. So I think one needs to think about those points not to have to buy lenses twice because there is an issue down the line.

love this camera. i've been using the viltrox 33mm f1.4 A LOT. I haven't had that AF flicker.. i wonder what that's about.

I love how the 17, 23, & 35 1.4 tt artisans lenses are consistent in color and flaring.
