I love thunderstorms!!! And hearing the rain on the roof when sleeping in a car is the best!
I’m amazed by Blue’s chill reaction though. My dog Bob is so scared of thunder he can’t stop panting.
Was laughing so hard about you sleeping or rather not sleeping in the driver’s seat because of that tick while you seem to be fearless about almost anything but bugs. Or should I say reckless? 😊

The lightning was super cool. Outside of Phoenix we get those kind of huge electrical storms. It’s beautiful.

Hi Maria, those were some fun storms to watch. Only be careful with during an electrical storm that's close by, 1-2 miles. I had a lightning strike my router by coming in the window. Yes there was glass everywhere and the router burning. I didn't think it mattered but I remember growing up on a farm that whenever a storm was near, mom was busy unplugging things (no we should have had surge protectors) and my dad was shutting down the barn. Did we get hit, yes a few times, some trees and the weather main on top of the barn. I looked up the chances of lightning hitting a car with electronics on and it's high. Seems they attract lightning, I watched a tornado chaser get hit on the antenna and fry everything electronic inside. So be careful out there, not just with ticks, as we love ya and don't want anything to happen to you and Blue. Take care Maria and be safe.

Can't work or sleep during thunderstorms 'cuz they're so exciting!! It's like an awesome event that requires my full attention! I just look out the window and count "one one-thousand, two one-thousand ..." between lightning and thunder to calculate how far the lightning is, like in that Poltergeist scene haha. Oh, yes. Ticks FREAK ME OUT too. But tick season is basically over, so that one tick just hadn't gotten the message yet. ;)

As someone who watched twister as a very small child and has been through 2 tornados, in 2 different towns, I am absolutely terrified of bad thunderstorms...being out in the wilderness with no shelter but a car is a worst nightmare situation for me lol
