FAQs??

-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?

This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?

Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

-How much yarn do I need?

Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

-What equipment do you use?

-What do you do for a living?

I’m a beginner and would really love a tutorial like your absolute beginner ones but for crocheting in a round. I’ve learned all my stitches from you and a round is really the only thing I still get confused about. Thank you!

Hi
Thank you so much Sarah for this left handed tutorial. I am really enjoying the chapters which have helped to understand how to crotchet.. I'm on my way to completing row 6 hooray! No mean feat I tell you. Just wondering if there are any new patterns which you can show me lol

Hi, Bella. I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 💜💜💜

I tried learning a smaller virus pattern, the shawl, and could never get the sense of the 'walls' between corners. Tried over and over again. Finally gave up and wasted wonderful yarn from trying and unraveling repeatedly.
The part that clicked it in to place for me is when you said, after finishing a fan was "SC to anchor...". As the walls got smaller I always knew that first ch 3 so was SC and nothing else. Weird how the mind works.
I started this blanket yesterday and now have five sets of corners with 'eyes'. Not sure how many rows that is all together but have the repeats memorized now and it is a joy!!!

Do you have your own tutorial for the Virus Shawl? I hope, I hope!
This looks so good and I am so happy. Take care.

If I wanted to do this as a shawl, would I make a change of 10, 2n Rd of 10, 3rd rnd of 2 DC in each for to make 20 DC and turn the work with each row? I know there are other Virus shawl patterns out there but your Virus blanket pattern was so easy to understand.

Hi Sarah as you know I am a newborn to crotcheting! Looking at doing the Shaw pattern after finishing the one above. I'm interested in doing the Shaw in a fine cotton any thoughts on this.
Thank you so much

Not sure why but when I was squaring out my crochet (9:45) I could only fit two three chain stitches on my last edge
