'Utterly shameful': Douglas Murray slams 'Hope not Hate' group

Author Douglas Murray has slammed the left-wing group ‘Hope not Hate’ as an “utterly shameful group” with "sinister" tactics.

“They’re one of a number of organisations in the UK, as in the US and Australia, who pretend to be anti-fascist but seem to me just to need to drop the anti bit," Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“This group is also wildly misnamed … it’s ‘Hate, not Hope’.

“It spends its time smearing people, libelling people and doing very, very sinister tactics about which I think there’s a lot more to come out.

“In order to try to pressure people in society to having the precise far-left political views that 'Hope, not Hate’ has’.”

You only have to look at where the funding comes from to understand this organisation - A fair bit from The Labour Party it seems. It would explain why Lowles and his cohorts put UKIP on their list of 'extreme' organisations when their poll ratings threatened the seats of a number of Labour MP's in 2015.
