My heart breaks for the older generation of gay men and women. The people who fought so hard for Gay rights and Gay marriage. The generation who went through the Aids epidemic. Although not Gay I supported my friends during this era. I lost so many wonderful friends to Aid R.I.P.! These young people are just AWFUL. I was raised by lesbians, one Polish, one Sicilian. Those two hardass women taught me to respect everyone until they demonstrate they are unworthy of that respect. My 3 brothers and I all grew up to be bouncers, fighters, teachers and mediators. Our Moms would have nothing to do with the "community" of hateful cultists these days.

There's a BIG generational division between the gay and lesbian community that helped to advance acceptance and who founded a lot of associations that are known by everyone today. They endured the fear and division that was created due to Aids and now, after all their well fought battles a younger generation of people are turning their backs on them. How fucked up is that? 😢
