Thanks... I "accidentally" hit Renna's sorcerer and they all disappeared (I got them back) but I couldn't figure out how to navigate to Nokstella until I watched this.

To clarify though you have to start Ranni's quest before you are allowed to battle General Radahn, and you do not have to battle the dragon. You can just ignore it and run past.
