New Physics and Engines! - CarX Drift Racing

Testing the new CarX update with LknStoner. We have Engine Swaps feature, but you need to unlock each engine on every single car by doing challenges. You can instantly unlock all the engines on every car if you get the Engines DLC though. Also the new physics are now in the normal version of CarX which also comes with more steering angle on every car. Max angle has been increased to 65 degrees on every car.

Small tip while doing drag races: make a spawn waypoint at the start of the track so you don't have to drive back to it every time

Honestly to me: Carx Drift Racing Online is probably one of my most favorite games on PS4. but I wish we could have any updates on console.

If your car is traction limited, it doesn't matter how much power you have because you can't use that power, if you swap heavier engine in the car that is RWD with engine in front, you will make a car heavier, but you won't have more grip on driven wheels and that will cost you aceleration. Also 7L V8 has much more displacement per cylinder so it can't rev as high as 2L I4 can, so you need to change the final drive.

they really need to implement your countdown timer loop idea on the drag lights. imo, the audio delay was so real giving the counter massive hundredths of a second gains in that launch and it irked my sensitive little brain.

if you haven't noticed, changing engine increses weight of the car. with original i4, it weights more than 1040kg. but with 7 liter v8, it weights more than 1200kg
