IMO for strength specific training, It's more beneficial to rest 2-5mins to maximize your ability for each set and then just specify a training day where you focus on building muscle endurance instead of taking away from your strength sessions and potentially taxing your CNS. For Example, On Sat train 5x5 Strength, Tues train Speed, Power, endurance with super sets like Explosive weighed squat into a Bodyweight Jump squats, Thurs I do lower weight high rep endurance. All full body training based off Squat-Dead-Row-Bench-Pull up- Overhead Press-Triceps-Biceps

Is high volume lifting or standard reps a better wayto increase strength? I workout once every 5 days. I dont want to be ripped i just want to be fit for work performance.

That is way to much time for me I rest for 10 seconds it is the reason i get stronger everyday.🤍
