I used to have same thinking as yours when it comes to skincare. I would just rely on freebies samples or trial sizes and give judgment after without realizing that skincare is different from make up. Make up gives instant result, the other does not because it has to take effect subcutaneously at a molecular level on a longer period of time. Samples/trial sizes are practically made to assess possible allergies and not the result expected from a continued use. As I age, aging in my skin is becoming more and more obvious and im not loving it because it affects my confidence. So I went ahead and got myself the essence and the r.n.a cream. I was not excited because the price tag is getting into my stingy self lol. 4 months later, lets just say I never looked back again and had to realign a portion of my household budget to my so called “maintenance” lol. And constantly hunted for skii deals in several japanese online selling platforms. I wanted the japanese market version with japanese UPC codes, I did not want the repackaged ones in the US market, or the far “cheaper versions”released in Hongkong, Taiwan, Singapore or Malaysia. I also tried olay top of the line skincare, laroche posay, loreal.and skii essence dupes from Korea, nope, just no. You get what you pay for indeed.

I’m not one to pay full price on anything but when it comes to skin care and make up, pricier “usually” means better in my experience. SKII has completely transformed my skin. I used to have dry, flaky skin until I started using their Essence. The game changer though was the RNA Cream. It makes my skin feel plump, hydrated and glowing. At $235 per jar, it’s money that’s worth every cent if it makes my skin look this great at 42. P.S - I’ve tried La Mer and hated it. Did absolutely nothing for my skin but give me break outs.

I have a few SK II products seriously you don’t notice anything unless you keep using it and be consistent, all my bottles are over $300-500 and up per bottles. It’s insane how expensive they are and they actually work just gotta keep up lol

SKII under eye after 3 $139 yeah holy crap!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Try La Roche Posay under eye $25 .67 oz and "It confidence under eye" for $40 0.5 oz I have had sensitive DRY skin all my life and worse as I have gotten older

I’ve been using Sk II for years and I love it badly. Recently just updated to LXP line, it’s even better than regular line. My mom is 57 years old, she’s been using sk ii for 20 years+, she doesn’t even have any wrinkles

From my experience, I DO NOT Buy Expensive Price Products Because It Is Not Worth It
The Expensive Price That Consumers Paid, Go To The Marketing, Advertising, Expensive Actors, Actress, Models salary, Brand Name And Packing And Some Others things !

I've been using SK-II Pitera Essence now for roughly 3 months and I have to say I noticed a huge difference--particularly in the firmness and my tone is far more even. Pitera, the ingredient, basically acts as a booster to the products you already use. It's almost like if you're cooling a room, if you open the window halfway (no Pitera) vs opening it up fully (Pitera). I already had luxury skin care products in my lineup but it wasn't until I Incorporated the essence that I really saw it's full potential. I plan to try their GenOptics serum soon.

The only thing I would spend on SK-II is the treatment essence. Their other skincare line is just way too expensive.

36 years ago, Sk 11 is a skincare range under Max Factor Cosmetic .
Then later P&G bought the whole range from Max Factor and Take The Range Name to Become A brand as u see today .
Their Main product is Actuall the Sk 11 Essence
The price for that, i think is about 30 dollar, 36 years ago !
Actually when Sk 11 is in Max Factor brand, it is not that much Effective camparing to other Max Factor Skin Care Range 36 years ago !
SkinCare Range Like Geminese, Skin Principle And Living Proof Range are Much Better Results And Effective Than Sk 11 .
Actually There Are Many Many Products and Brands That Works Effectively 30 years ago, Better Then Today 's Brands And Products, even though the tecnology were not that advance 30 to 40 years ago ! And the products price 30 to 40 years ago are much cheaper than today expensive products that mostly does not work that well or effectively compare to the products 30/40 years ago !
40 year ago, there is Kose And Menard Brands, both from Japan, and they have Super Very Effective Acne Pimples products that are Super Effective !
I have Very Oily Skin And A Lot of Acne Pimples 38 years ago ! All my face super oiliness and Acne Pimples Have been Control And Heal By Kose Raison Acne Cream And Menard Men Lotion !
It takes only 2 to 3 days For the Acne Pimples To Diminish or Disappear after applying the above Products ! And the lotion really Control The Super Oiliness of my skin .
And another brand, Boujouis Oily SkinCare Range, The Day Cream And Night Cream Also Control Excess Oiliness from my super oily skin .
All these are 40 years ago products that no brands have such great products for oily pinples skin now !
Many brands have Discontinue Their Very Great Products that are Effective And Really Works and then have all mediciore products now that are expensive and does not really works !
