dude, you cant even imagine how you changed my field of view with this vid. Literally!!! ive been working as a developer in a startup and i was doing lots of shit - rewriting librarries from npm, building servers, setting websites, writing SPA on react, doing bots, designing frameworks, creating scrapers, analyzing and building data structures and even algorithms that are used in production, and all of this without even graduating university. AND I STILL THOUGHT THAT I DONT HAVE ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE TO BE A JUNIOR DEV.

What im trying to say is - THANK YOU! for clearing my mind and opening my eyes to the skills that i have.

This is super true. I recently accepted a junior dev job that asked for and associates or bachelors degree. I am finishing my associates now. But I had experience form a boot camp and a few projects. They can only say no.

Great advice! I've been on both ends of the job search/hiring game. Would have been excellent to have the sort of insight offered here while I was job searching. It can feel so nerve wracking, but, at the end of the day, all you need to do is apply. Then, if you get a response, show up. Then wow them with your beautiful smile and great "Go get it" attitude, and begin a life-changing career.

last year i saw a job posting in a newspaper looking for a backend senior dev and back then
I was in my second year of career and I had knowledge in databases, php and java (I was not specialized in any of these languages) and I said, why not? I'm going to try my luck and I'll send my resume ... a week later they called me to have an interview
