3 police officers alleged to have aided the escape of Masten Wanjala from prison charged in court

The trio inspector Philip Mbithi, constable Kamakia Boniface, Precious Mwende pleaded not guilty before Senior Principal Magistrate Benard Ochoi and were ordered to place Sh150, 000 each and provide a contact person. The officers were arrested on October 13 over allegations of aiding Masten Wanjala's escape from lawful custody at Jogoo Road Police Station.
