The videos are incredible. You are a wise and smart traveler. The best and safe for your trip are using the train for Avoiding traffic jams and of course the right time for departure and arrival. Traveling by train will give you amazing views along the way. All train classes in Indonesia now have AC from the lowest class to the most expensive. Free from hawkers, free from snatchers, free from scammers. Some classes have free wifi on board. Take the bullet train from Jakarta to Bandung and get the Panoramic class train from Bandung to Yogyakarta, the amazing views will blow your eyes away. Indonesia is a safe country for tourists, crime rate is low and people are very friendly. Always asking to the people if you have a problem with your direction or how to do with simple bahasa or with google translate. People will help you again with smiling.
