These words are so true that they will cut deep into psychiatry's lies.

As Peter Gøtzsche says: "Psychiatic drugging of children is a crime against humanity". This is the truth. Thank you for your amazing work Dr. Witt-Dörring!

Harmful for adults too, but we are not yet empathetic enough to deal with people the way they need to - with love and compassion.

Happened to me. I was autistic and I had been isolated from other autistic people, so I had no social connection. Got antipsychotics. Horrible side effects, trying to get off now.

Finally a doctor with common sense. I was medicated 17 against my will because my father died. I am still suffering from this at age 27. 10 miserable years from this chemical lobotomy known as psychiatry. Anger is an understatement. These doctors need to be held liable for destroying the lives of innocent youth. Please God I beg you. Divine Justice is in order. Lord please save me and help the others too. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It may be a small consolation but I only thank God that the 90's were a SLIGHTLY less insane time, because when I was 4 or 5 they put me on ritalin and I began to hallucinate multi-colored spiders crawling up and down the walls and scuttling across the floors. It was horrific: I'd try and step on them but they'd move through my feet; because I was so young I thought they were real and had no idea it could be the 'safe and effective' drugs, which is what scared me the most. Fast forward 26 years and I've never had another hallucination, but if I was a kid and this happened to me now as Dr Gotzsche says instead of stopping the ritalin theyd pop me onto a psychosis drug, and I'd be a shell of a human today. The psych drugging didn't stop there for me, but thankfully they never put me on an antipsychotic as a kid. My brother, however, was not so lucky. No mania; no psychosis, but he was a 'problem' so he got the antipsychotics good and early, from early elementary school on: thorazine, haldol, the works. Flash forward a couple of decades and he is barely a person anymore, destroyed by these drugs and tardive dyskinesia. When he tried to come OFF the drugs years later, THAT's when the psychoses began: one after another. I now know this is a common withdrawal effect, not to mention the dopamine supersensitivity from the years of 'treatment.' Well, he's back on the drugs and continues to deteriorate. But he likely never would have become psychotic without them. Such a horrific double bind, engineered by the sick psychiatrist who used his brain as a science experiment, even referring to him (and me) as his 'guinea pigs.' My mother has early onset dementia from all the benzos, but refuses to budge an inch from the usefulness of a disease model and these drugs. I myself am in the process of getting off my last one, but since they started me so young and I was on them for so many years the withdrawal is unspeakably painful. I go down 1 mg every month. It will take me 3 years to get off, in the meantime the drug is an anticholinergic and I know it is eating my brain. I hope we can wake up from this collective nightmare one day. For now I am only and absolutely intent on extricating myself.

if we don't give a child a joint or a beer we shouldn't give them psychiatric drugs

Happened to me. Was put on Prozac at age 7 (both my parents were on it by then so they were clearly biased in their decision making). Really fucked up my health long term.

I was forcefully drugs at age 13, I never wanted to take those drugs at all, but psychiatrists forced me even tho I was never depressed or anxious. I was finally able to stop them at age 17 but I’m still extremely harmed and in such extreme withdrawal. Psychiatry ruined my life and health. Those drugs affected my development and gave me so many issues. I feel as if psychiatry robed me from my passion, happiness, creativity, and sexuality. I’m beyond angry! 😞😤

What we need is less trust in doctors; and parents with the guts to stand up to authority, and to say no for the sake of their children; and a government not paid and owned by drug companies, and less greed and more compassion. We need politicians with ethics, but where the hell are you going to find that rare breed of bird? Psychiatry has a very dark history.

They started drugging me right away. Benedril to sleep. Antidepressants at 8, to deal with the gaslighting from the mother who thought "babies don't need attention."

Thank you! Please keep speaking out! These kids need you! Their parents need more true support and ways to address the child’s symptoms! There are many options and we are not designed as humans to only have one option of medication, especially in our little ones!

he's spot on. my doctor gave me Paxil for two days and it triggered severe insomnia and hypomania. took a 6.5 hour screening before which indicated I didnt have bipolar but had some symptoms of cyclothymia. then all the people that were overseeing my care were quick to label me a as bipolar and that the SSRI just unmasked an existing BP, which I have the records to prove is absolutely not true. it really is maddenning that this can happen all the time in this world.

What he's describing is exactly what happened to me. Not one person i went to asked me how my family life was like. Well i figured it out. Just money for them. So relieving to know the truth. A commonality amongst most people is lying . They do it just as easily as breathing. A million lies don't add upto the truth. Shame on you.
