State-sponsored doping is Russia's bread and butter when it comes to international athletics, so it should come as no surprise that Vladimir Putin held an honorary state medal ceremony for Russian athletes, including controversial figure skater Kamila Valieva, who still faces investigation for a positive PED test before being allowed to compete in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Problem is, that poor girl never had a choice in the matter concerning her medication.

Kamila Valieva is not a cheat she is a child that has been lied too and betrayed for the personal gain of the adults in charge of her.

This is the fault of her parents, team tutberidze and of course the russian doping system. That being said there still needs to be consequences and team tutberidze and russian doping needs to be investigated much further.

I hope Kami realises what these adults have done to her and can leave that toxic environment as soon as possible before they brainwash her even more.
