So glad to see these fights on here. My father is the referee in this fight. He passed away 5 years ago. Boxing was his life. I’m so glad I can actually see him and hear his voice on here. It chokes me up every time. I miss him so much so when people upload these it makes me so happy. He was a great ref. Thank you so much for these videos.

Moorer was a beast at LHW. One of the most under looked fighters of all time. I think he's a top 10 LHW of all time.

Leslie goes my boxing gym...I asked him if he every fight before today while in the gym he said yes that to look him up on YouTube and you'll see some of my fights and I'm here watching him fight in 2022

Moorer deserves better than to be remembered mainly as the guy Foreman beat. He was a phenom and LHW, and would have been great at CW.

Notice on this shot at 8:44 and hear the commentary expressing on how the fights going while Michael at this point is keeping track of Leslie’s movements as Leslie begins to struggle doesn’t help with the fact that Michael’s a right-handed Southpaw.

Around the 24:43 mark I hear what sounds like Emanuel Steward saying, "Throw the left hand, " then Moorer lands it, followed by the right hook, then I hear, "There you go!" and Stewart falls.

Obviously Moorer never got that fight with Virgil Hill. I think he would have stopped him.

Too bad Moorer never fought Virgil Hill or Prince Charles Williams. I think a bad match up for Moorer would've been against Donny Lalonde. Lalonde could punch with his right and Moorer seemed to freeze up when fighters attacked him.
