The 2025 Toyota 4Runner goes on sale soon, and we finally know how much it will cost to buy one. The mid-grade stuff isn't a surprise, but the Trailhunter and TRD Pro are up there quite a bit. #Autotrader #Toyota4Runner #Toyota

Because jacking up the prices has worked so well for Jeep. Good luck with that.

Knowing that I bought a gently used 23’ GX460 with 19k on the clock and a V8 for just $43k a couple months ago makes me smile & quite happy. What an actual joke!

$68k+ MSRP for a TH/TRDPRO? Congratulations Toyota! You played

$80k+ for the TRD Pro in Canada.. Toyota is seriously high if they think we'll pay that kind of money for a mid class SUV... Hard pass.. Let em Rot on dealer lots I say.

The new Passport seems like a more compelling deal.
I get that it’s a unibody platform but most people aren’t going to take it off roading but to Cosco

Honda is about to get good sales this year

Overpriced plastic on frame with a weak turbo 4 cylinder engine that’s waiting will grenade on you, and the weak Tacoma transmission. Toyota has lowered the standards, very sad to see.

Horrendous pricing all around, and the worst part is these first few model years are going to have all sorts of issues. Just the like the Tacoma. Just like the Tundra.

If people would refuse to pay it, the price would come down. But you know there are the people who can afford it and want to flaunt that they can afford it, so they will pay whatever, and the markup on top of that. We all waited eagerly for the new full size Bronco and saw the ridiculous markups. My local Ford dealer wanted $10, 000 markup for "market adjustment". Now their lot is flooded with unsold vehicles, including rows of full size Broncos.

you know its goin to be expensive when toyota kept us in suspense for the pricing of these thigns. $12, 000 difference is just crazy and mpg still sucks

Autotrader, never get rid of Jeff. Or better said never stop collaborating with Jeff. Been enjoying his reviews for many years..

Damn! The current trd pro is around $53.000. What a price jump!

Wow, I got my lightly used 23 TRD off road for less than the starting price of the new sr5. Auto manufacturers and dealers have lost their minds

The pricing is LOL. Good thing too as the last thing I needed was to finance at 6% a large SUV like this thats got tiny range and not the most nimble thing around town. If the price was like the last gen I'd probably have sprung for it - this is an insane increase

Bummer. Out of my price range. I need the trd pro or trail to get to Costco.

That amount of gloss black all over, piano black, jesus christ, we are in 2025 and we still have that sheet.

I’d absolutely go for the gx550 over trail. The only reason I considered waiting for the 4runner is because I thought it would have been cheaper.

I hope Americans learn a lesson and stop paying these inflated prices for these questionably reliable vehicles 😂. Make them lower their prices by not buying.

Well at least there won’t be a sea of white 4Runners if they’re going to price it that high😂

In context of the Toyota lineup, the pricing makes sense. They're placing it between the Tacoma and Land Cruiser. Trail Hunter and TRD Pro will sell mostly above MSRP. Toyota will limit production to keep demand up. Lower trims will eventually be advertised with discounts, but actually sell close to MSRP as the starting price will be inflated with add-ons.
