Don't Waste Your Money on a 2025 Toyota 4Runner

Don't waste your money on a brand new 2025 Toyota 4Runner. The new 2025 4Runner TRD Pro and Trailhunter will come with price tags around $69-71K... which is pure insanity for a 4 cylinder turbocharged iForce Max. No thanks! Even the 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road, TRD Sport and SR5 will come with price tags in the high 50s and low 60s. In this video I provide my 5 Reasons why I think buying a new 2025 Toyota 4Runner would be foolish. What are your thoughts? Would you agree with these reasons? What did I miss?

People are losing faith in Toyota as they cash in on "green credits"... They cash in on carbon credits from the government at the expense of reliability and longevity. Less is more, true Toyota enthusiasts buy Toyotas for 3 primary reason: 1) Reliability, 2) Simplicity, and 3) Affordability. None of which we find in the new 6th Gen 4Runner.

Let me know your thoughts! As always, I sincerely appreciate you tuning in to watch. If you enjoy this type of content, please consider Liking and Subscribing. Your support doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you!

Bought a new 2024 4Runner off road premium in underground for $45, 200 - $5, 000 under MSRP. I feel like I got a deal and plan to keep it a very long time.

Traded my 2019 TRD Off Road Premium KDSS unit and purchased a 2024 TRD Pro Underground at MSRP a week ago. Best thing about this purchase was that I only lost $2, 900 on the 2019 TRD Off Road from what I purchased it for back in 2019. Great resale. The dealer is actually selling it for more than I originally purchased it for. Love the Pro, the ride is amazing and I wanted the last year of the 5th gen. She was built June 28th and arrived at the dealership on Sept 5th. Stoked

Excellent video! A local Toyota dealer had been calling me and texting me every day to trade in my 2019 Toyota TRD Off Road. I flat out told him, when Toyota goes back to using a real engine I would think about it.

Just bought a 2024 4Runner TRD ORP for discount under MSRP. I keep cars a long time—replaced my 2011 MDX, which was also a great vehicle. I hope to keep the 4Runner for 20 years if possible. I love the V6, solid build quality and simplicity of the electronics/infotainment. It has everything you’d want and nothing you don’t.

I’m still completely in love with my 2019. Just about to pass 100k miles and looking forward to putting a few 100k more!

Had a 2000 4 Runner Limited that I absolutely loved. Drove it until our burgeoning family outgrew it. Went to an ‘04 Sequoia, put 175k on it & bought a ‘16 LC(still have), and added a ‘21 Platinum Tundra 2 months ago and a ‘23 Rav for my college bound daughter. Also retained my ‘20 LS500 FSport which replaced my ‘08 LS 460 that was, regrettably, totaled. All got started w/ my ‘99 GS350😊. Guess I’m solidly a Toyota guy, and I’ve never looked back. Will prob add another Rav to the fleet next year when my youngest daughter goes to college. I do still have my Dad’s 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (125k miles, garaged) & my G-father’s ‘63 GMC, 4-on-the-floor, 3/4t, 4x4 w/ a 305 big-bore Hercules V6 engine w/ 77k original miles on it, also garaged (they’re both deceased now). Short way of saying, I have car issues.😂

Good video. So happy I bought a 2023 4-Runner with leatherette seats for $43, 000 in December 2023.

I had a 22 Tacoma but found the interior is too small for my liking but didn’t want to give up such a nice vehicle, phone a few dealers and found a 24 4Runner pro in Terra is coming and still available, the dealer offered me more money than MSRP I paid for the Tacoma (it has a TRD lift and very low mileage), just picked up the gorgeous 4Runner a few days ago, can’t be more pleased. Thanks Untamed for the advice!😊🎉

As someone who has worked for Toyota for the last 13+ years, I recently purchased my 2024 TRD PRO Runner in Midnight Black (had it ceramic coated immediately lol). These things will end up like the FJ...forever holding their value and being sought after. Buy one while you can as I can assure you allocations are starting to run out.

I've been looking at some used 4 Runners to replace this lemon 22 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I've learned my lesson and now back to looking at cars again.😭

My wife has a '23 SR5, and I just picked up a '17 SR5 with 89K miles on it for a really good deal. I will keep driving my '98, but what this guy is saying is spot on... I could not pass up that '17 while it was out in the wild because I am noticing that they get snatched up very quick these days.

Nice neighborhood! Perfect timing on daylight in the background.
As the bright reflections on the homes began to fade, you could
really see the beauty in these two vehicles.
