Finally having my right upper extremity deformity surgically dealt with on Monday. It will be very extensive. Also a manual wheelchair user. After more than twenty years of waiting I am finally ready and so excited for less pain and a little function. After a really bad experience with anesthesiology and anesthesia in March I cross my fingers that everything will be much better this time. Having regional block and general anasthesia. Will be going to a rehab facility for a while after surgery.Thank you for your time and educational videos.

Just had a correction surgery today of my finger, first time under anesthesia
They put the mask over me, i took five deep breaths and started feeling super weird. I closed my eyes and could still hear everything happening around me for the next 10 secs. In another 10 seconds i was awake

I had a septoplasty last week, once the oxygen mask was on the anaesthetist gave me propofol, I felt fine for 5secs, incredibly lightheaded for 2secs & it was lights out. I never had the feeling of instantly walking again, I only remember already being awake in theatre afterwards & talking to one of the staff, about what i have no idea 😂

It’s really different. Think of it as the most lightheaded you’ve ever been and can’t think then fall asleep and wake up in like seconds

When I got a colonoscopy they did the same thing, when I woke up they were like okay we’re gonna start now and I’m like what? 😅😅

I just had my first surgery last week and that's exactly what it was like lol 😅. The oxygen mask was placed on, and all I heard was something about anesthesia, and I was out. Haha.

I once had a cavity like a half cavity so basically I broke half of my cavity and the other part was some how missing so it hurt like a lot and I had to pull it out well ofc I had to preform this at the dentist it was at an every kids dentist and I had to go to sleep for this and the whole point of me saying this and from that experience when the gas was making me sleep I count to 10 and when it went all black I counted for 3 more seconds and woke up and my cavity was gone and I was happy so ye they said it took an hour but for me it took 13 seconds kind of crazy Ngl

I have almost broke my head bone and my leg and my fingers and my hand I almost broke 2 times but my bones said hell nah we aint breaking today
