Not sure where your route back east will take you, but Lucky Star Casino in El Reno, Oklahoma (about 30 minutes west of Oklahoma City on I-40) has free overnight parking (first come, first serve) with free electricity, water, and sewer hookups. I mention this because on the property they also have BUFFALO! There are also buffalo at the Cherokee Restaurant (about 1 hour west of OKC) outside in a fenced in area you can walk right up to, although it might make you sad to learn that they also serve buffalo burgers there. If you do end up heading through Oklahoma City on I-40, let me know if I can point you to any hiking trails or help you along your way! Pro tip...dehydrate tomatoes an
d add them to sandwiches to avoid that soggy soggy. Plus they travel well.
