I started berberine 7 weeks ago for cholesterol support, not paying too much attention to weight loss. After a few days, I realized I had zero cravings and had to remind myself to eat. I currently take Berberine 1200mg I went from 221 to 214 started taking it June 23, 2023 i weight in every month I also walk the treadmill and eat vegan mostly as well as fasting from 12am to 12pm (I work night shift)

When he said prescribed by a doctor he means consult with your doctor about taking the supplement. It does have an adverse reaction with certain medications a patient maybe taking.

The only way you can know that is by talking to your doctor.

If he or she says you can have it. They basically prescribed it to you. Being an M.D he’s liable for any adverse effects it has after that.

As soon as he said Berberine needs to be prescribed, I decided that I will no longer allow his videos to show up on my you tube home page. I follow doctors way more informed and knowledgeable than him. I bet he always follows Medicare's SOC (Standard of Care) on every disease he treats with his seniors. I'm sure he hands out statins like candy.
