They actually had the actors sing in the original, Chris really stands out when you listen to it. But in the newer versions they seemed to just use a chorus.

WhatI always find really cool is that the characters on the stairs have changed into characters we've seen and this just shows how far family guy is with their show

I love how in the 2016 version of the Family Guy intro, you can see the secondary characters joining the intro. But the real reason as to why I love it because of Joe. Despite him being in a wheelchair, and the fact that he can't move his legs, he's still able to join the dance by using arms to move his legs with the others. I love that.

The characters move around very stiffly in the newer episodes. In the older episodes, their motion was more relaxed and natural. That's part of the reason why I like the older episodes more.

The older episodes were a lot better, anyways.

I think that the 2016 version looks more polished and clean what with them adding a tad more dimension to the background and adding soft cell shading to the characters but the old one has a more iconic look in my opinion. I'm not saying the new one is bad, oh no. It's good, I just think the old one has more icon factor if that makes sense?
