Family Guy Pilot Featured in a Promo From Late 1998 or Early 1999? (Lost Media)

Here’s a promo of Family Guy featuring the pilot found by YouTuber Ryder Rose. There’s only some never before seen snippets of it here and Peter’s voice kind of sounds different than the pilot that was featured on the Season 1 DVD release of Family Guy from 2003. But new footage is guaranteed no matter what the length is. (even though it would be better for the pilot to be found) Interestingly in this promo it says Family Guy premieres March 1999 instead of January 31st so was the original premiere date planned for March instead of January? That’s pretty interesting if you ask me. Also I can’t tell if the copyright year date at the end is 1998 or 1999, it’s really hard to tell due to how this was recorded by a camcorder. I guess the person who uploaded didn’t have a VCR recorder, oh well it’s better than being it lost at least.
So thank you Ryder Rose for finding this piece of Family Guy and animation history.

Update: Ok so apparently the channel must’ve found this promo from a different source.
The original source of the promo is from a tik tok post, so that explains why it’s not recorded from a VCR recorder. Nothing against to the user who uploaded it but posting new lost media footage on Tik Tok, YouTube Shorts, or from a cell phone or camcorder is not a great way to post new discovered media from that particular source due to how the aspect ratio can make 4:3 cropped or some other reasons like that. Maybe the user didn’t know it was that rare or didn’t have a VCR recorder, I don’t know. It’s unfortunate it’s in this quality but I guess it’s better than nothing at least. So thanks abrupt_edge for finding this cool discovery.
If anyone would like to use the original source to convert it to a video format in order to upload it in better quality then go nuts. Also please don’t go attack the user for not uploading it from a VCR Recorder, that would be a really crappy thing to do.

I like how they apparently didn't seem to understand that Peter's job wasn't actually a "sneeze guard", but a toy factory worker. I guess they didn't know what a cutaway was.
