If she cheats, dip. When a woman cheats it's because she's over you. If you forgive her, not only will she do it again, she will lose even more respect for you. Trust me, move on. It might be hard to because you feel like your words can keep her there physically, and that may be the case, but her mind is with the other guy. Honestly, a lot of times when women cheat with a guy the best thing to do is let her have that guy and you'll find that more often than not the relationship will fall apart in weeks or months. Turns out, a union that requires trust, but was establish off the breaking of trust, probably won't last very long. More often than not she's just some low-attention span, loose woman that pounces at everything she sees. You really want that anyway? Let her go and do it with a smile. Give her no words after you let her go, and make it final. The thought that you let her go so easily, will have her second-guessing whether or not she could do better than you (which is the only reason women cheat). Then when she realizes that the guy she cheated with isn't going to take her seriously (because he knows she's unfaithful) and she realizes she's just a booty call, the regret that will come will hit her like a ton of bricks and she'll probably be back. Don't take her back. And if you really want to be mean, talk to her when she calls or texts (because she'll try to ease her way back into your life by explaining how much she learned) and just say "oh that's nice" at the end of it all, and hang up, never to talk to her again.

It really helped make sense of things when you said the blame is on the cheater because they CHOSE to cheat in order to escape reality rather than dealing with it and working on it. Definitely there are things that were wrong in the relationship and things I did, but those are not necessarily things to blame for the cheating. It's the cheater's fault for cheating.

Was with a vulnerable narcissist who is a serial cheater. An absolutely mind fucking experience. & The crazy thing is the woman I started spending time with acted exactly like her in the beginning. Im not in this space right now thank goodness, but I have been and I know how much it hurts, and the sense of helplessness you might feel. Just know it gets better. The pain WILL go away, but it might take a while. In the meantime I recommend you make a list of things that you enjoy doing. Put down as many things as you can think of. Eg: I use things like run a deep hot bubble bath. Light candles and soak with your fav music and maybe a glass of good wine, and maybe some divine finger food too. Go to the movies by yourself. Sit in a cafe with the newspaper and sip the best coffee you can afford while you read. Go for a walk. Go in the rain even. Go to a heated pool and swim some lengths. Challenge yourself. Get a massage., read a few chapters of a great book. Paint, Draw, write poetry. Listen to a podcast. Whenever you feel sad do one of the things on this list youll compile. In time, I PROMISE youll feel normal again.
