My wife and I are going to be relocating to Wyoming soon from Texas. I love my Texas and it will always hold a place in my heart, but I love how Wyoming is the way it is and I hope it never changes. Unfortunately, Texas has changed over the last decade and it breaks my heart. My wife is from Colorado and she witnessed the change her beloved state went through and now I'm seeing it here in Texas. Please don't change Wyoming, it reminds me of Texas the way it was 20-30 years ago. We can't wait to get there. And we are not coming to change anything, but to hopefully keep Wyoming the way it is.

When I moved here in '07 my game plan was to blend in. It has worked and I understand why "Not to change it." And I agree with it, this place is the best.

Seems like a cool place to visit or even live, however I have two questions: 1. Would there be any major issues if an American/Latino were to walk about? And 2. Is there any sort of Music scene?

I'm from NJ and I recently just got engaged and had a baby. I am the TRUE ULTIMATE Jersey girl. But as I get older and listen to the government. I fear for myself, my family and my son. We plan on moving to Wyoming, and I RESPECT everything about it. I won't bring my “jersey” there. I am great at adapting and I want to be closer to mother nature... And feel more safer and relax. I hope you welcome me as I am open arms with new people

I no what you mean people coming into your place and trying to change it. I hate when people do this .I love your state and i love the horse country and the great views and your openness to be left alone to mine your own business . Great video .Thank u from Ga

A big tip for when you move to Wyoming is the state is BIG. Search out the different parts that are beautiful. The northwest part of the state is only a very small part of Wyoming. Not to say it isn't beautiful because it is, but look around before you decide where you want to be. In other words all of Wyoming is beautiful.

Let me ask these 3 questions:
(1) circa Cody, is there an influx of flies after Winter like in Alaska?
(2) how badly does the thinner air affect people and do some people move away because of it?
(3) more recently, in that part of Wyoming, are you affected by the smoke from the western (i.e., California) wildfires? Does Wyoming expert be its own localized wildfires? At a certain time of year does it affect air quality?

My biggest worry moving out there is finding work. I'm an electrician with hvac experience so I should be fine but it's still a concern.

love your vids, Wyoming is a place we are heavily leaning towards retiring to.. love the knowledge your sharing. Would love a video or series on the different areas of Wyoming like the big horn area and Laramie, Cheyenne area from your perspective. we are specifically looking for mountain regions but would love any info.

Really really windy down in the south western part and up high in the mountains too. Which is why pepper spray won't always be a good choice for protection. I have a million hoodies but only wear one. We've caught some interesting pictures of people from all around the world. I like the guys that look like they are going on safari that I saw in the Old Faithful Lodge. The whole outfit looked like it was from a South Africa safari catalog.

Very little wind in Worland, Big Horn Basin is rather calm compared to the rest of WY. The county government in WY is great. The workers try to help and are on your side. I moved from CO. The county gov. there treat you like an enemy and they can't get anything done.

I would think that #1 would be leave your liberal ways at the border or don't enter in. I totally hate what California has become and I remember the 60s and early 70s. It wasn't the best then but it was better than it is today. At least people didn't freak out because you went hunting.

#1 the wind, My son sent me a pic of the wind guage up on some mountain pass.. it was a heavy chain, the kind like you'd pull a semi truck out of a ditch with, it was at full staff sticking straight out to the side. Ok it may have been welded that way. Lol
