The parents of a teen accused of killing four students in a shooting at a Michigan high school were caught early Saturday, several hours after a prosecutor filed involuntary manslaughter charges against them, officials said.

James and Jennifer Crumbley were captured in a commercial building in Detroit that housed artwork, Detroit Police Chief James E. White told a news conference. White said the couple “was aided in getting into the building,” and that a person who helped them may also face charges.

i just watched the Arraignment of the two parents, the Father of the Accused Shooter Laughing and smiling as Four Families are Grieving the Loss of Their Children. i have no sympathy for either of them or their Son~ it seems as if some Parents are only that in title alone ! Until We Want a Change and are willing to commit to ourselves and each other to Expect More and Achieve Positive Action, this will just keep happening elsewhere...this Incident was just Miles From Where My Community Is. Next Time it might be Yours.

You don't need a law to be broken in order to charge someone for negligence under the law. To prove negligence you have to show duty, breach, causation, and damages. All 4 can be shown here in this case.

When asked how many minors in the Detroit area who took unsecured firearms from their homes and committed crimes with them have had their parents charged with manslaughter or murder, the main stream media was "unavailable for comment".

Sounds like the parents didn't want to deal with him. He was a bad seed. All my kids shoot guns, know how to handle them. If they showed any negative disposition in any way...no guns in the house unless locked up!
