The word ‘king’ mistranslation, inaccurate. because they were APPOINTED by the conquerors. Not in the line of David, not even Jews.

Hubris. And the logical fallacy of assumption. This is pretty common knowledge.

Neither were they Jews/Israelis. They were Hasmoneans.

"The Herods were not kings." LOL. Good one. There are fifteen members of the "Herodian dynasty", of which eight were kings. 8/15 = 53.3%. Herod I (the Builder) was "King Herod" by order of the Roman senate in 40 BC. Herod Agrippa was the first Jewish king in 41 AD. Tigranes VI (also a "Herods") was crowned king of Armenia in 58 AD.

Also, "tetrarch" is the equivalent of a governor. "Tetra-" in Greek implies that the province in question was divided into fourths, but in this case it was only three. And it wasn't "Israel". It was "Palestine".

Tetrarchs worked with procurators (think "treasurer") to manage areas that were subject to Rome in lieu of a single friendly king. It's worth noting that Archelaus was so bad the Jewish population literally begged Rome to remove him and take over.

Finally, that map he showed is total garbage for many reasons--not the least of which is that they misspelled "Philip".
