Milwaukee is awesome for actually listening to feedback and actually trying to fix the faults on their tools for the working people. They could just take our money and make us wait years for the next gen, but they fix it when they find a solution to the problem and release it immediately

I'm glad they listened to us on this. Milwaukee reached out about this originally when it came out we were having issues with the adapters staying in the tool with socket and extension. 👏 Great tool this is what it needed.

I bought mine about 3 weeks ago from HD. I started filling out the warranty form, went out to the garage to get my serial number, and my adapters were already the new style 🤘 it's nice they are shipping out updated kits.

Just got my insider 2 days ago, and they included the updated sockets!!! I got it for its certain niches or certain past issues, lol. Have gotten many compliments on my gen1 3/8 stubby impact and standard 3/8 high speed ratchet 😉. My colleagues are impressed with performance and my loved ones or side jobs recognize they are used/put to work frequently!

Thanks for sharing the update! I bought the Insider when it first was released and have no idea where the receipt is. Would Milwaukee still send me the updated anvils without it??

Thank you for this. It's wild that some of the guys in my shop has their ratchet ship with the locking adapters and some did not. I tried searching for the part number on the locking adapters and they do not exist. So maybe replacements will be available at a later time

I had one but got rid of it for the DeWalt 20v XR sealed head ratchet but would like to see DeWalt make a 1/4 hex bit holder

That friggin direction switch jiggling like crazy just made me decide this tool isn't ready. No to the "easy" twist lock that you stuggled with.

I’m really hoping they come out with a small 12mm through polishing machine unit. This ratchet sets are the perfect form form for excellent tool for retailers
