As you saw in the video that I posted the other day, I get a few not-so-nice comments about my cookies! But the supportive and kind comments I receive vastly outnumber the negative ones. THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you for watching my cookie decorating videos over the last decade and for always letting me know how much you enjoy them. For anyone else who experiences this type of negativity on the internet, I hope this gives you some encouragement and reminds you to not let it stop you from sharing yourself and your art with the rest of us ️❤️

Your videos bring me a lot of enjoyment and I appreciate your creativity and process - and the beautiful results! If a design doesn’t appeal to me personally, I typically say nothing and keep it pushing. Plenty of others will like it. But I bet even those who leave negative comments would happily eat your cookies with no complaints!

I try not to say anything online that I wouldn’t say irl. I wouldn’t go into a bakery and tell them I thought their cookies were yuck, so I’m not going to do it to someone showing their craft online.

There are always people that aren’t happy until they’ve dragged someone else down to their level. They usually know absolutely nothing about the thing they’re criticising so feel free to ignore them entirely.
