We just hit 1k subs and 4k watch hours last week, applied yesterday for monetization, and got accepted this morning! Started back in March this year, but it really picked up this past month with over 800 new subs. 😁

6 Months since getting serious. Went from about 40 subs to now having just applied at 1.6k subs. The watch hours were what I waited for but they updated and ticked to over 5, 000 and boom. It's hilarious because I spent two years getting to 600 subscribers, doing general content for a particular video game company with mixed results. Then a certain game came out, and as a fan, I hard-focused on making content once a week for that game specifically, and I bumped up past 1000 subscribers to 1.6 right now! 1000+ subscribers is pretty insane and it's been very fun to produce content on the platform.

it took almost eight months and I met both milestones at about the same time. The monetization process just took 36 hours, once Youtube realized that I actually had the required numbers (that strangely took a few days...) (not this channel, I am not uploading on this one :) ) for the second question (because I know that would have been very helpful and informative for me) In my first month I earned about 50 $, then 80$ and then my channel grew a lot and now I earned over 500$ for the last few months. This journey is different for everybody so you can't expect anything but just try our best and be persistent! good luck to anybody trying to reach the requirements!

First time caller: Reached the requirements yesterday! took 525 days from 0 - 1000, achieved the 4000 hours in slightly less than that! Very excited! I've watched many many of your videos which helped in so many ways! Thank you! UPDATE: Got approved in 72 hours!
