Some will observe from a safe distance, while others will risk it all to get the perfect shot of a violent tornado from close range. Whether you're out there deploying data-collecting probes, intercepting in an armored vehicle, or just taking pictures, you're bound to have a run in with mother nature like no other.
Just watch yourself, sometimes the hunters become the hunted.

You forgot the classic: "NWS goofy employee" basically those amazing people who decide to mess with the warning boxes and make either the most beautiful piece of art on history or anything to annoy everyone else's experience.

And also with 1.21 those people who rate EF5 to a barely damaged mobile house.

A rare but still existing stereotype is the Logger, the guys who obsessively clear out every fallen tree that they can find because it's easy money. Remember back before Prior Lake existed and route 35 had a a whole forest on its west side, and every tornado that passed by would completely block the road for about a half mile? I earned enough to buy my DOW by keeping that road clear. Good times, man.

As a recent DOW user, first thing I do after getting readings on a twister is putting windspeeds in the chat, especially updates, and letting the rest know if it's growing or weakening.
