Throughout the rolling hills and prairies of the fictional state of Keysota, scientists and thrill seekers alike set out on the roads in chase of severe weather. Some will observe from a safe distance, while others will risk it all to get the perfect shot of a violent tornado from close range. Whether you're out there deploying data-collecting probes, intercepting in an armored vehicle, or just taking pictures, you're bound to have a run in with mother nature like no other. Just watch yourself, sometimes the hunters become the hunted.

for the vehicles, i quite like the scout as a first vehicle as it's cheap, holds 4 probes, 100mph top speed on road and 6tmph top speed offroad and 400 acceleration

The Scout is also a great vehicle option as it is just a cheaper version of the Vortex 2.

I needed this at the wrong time. I now have a tiv1 and did probe deploys once my meso read 40mph and booked it outta there. Also I went for the scout cuz 4 probes and built-in mesonet.

Placed Three Probes directly in the path of a Tornado, Tornado went right over them, and it only had wind speeds of about 15-20 MPH and no Money Made.

What I do is wait at the predicted tornado path and make small adjustments until my mesonet starts picking up speed. Then I place all my probes in one spot, then drive like a bat put of hell
