In this video, I'll answer one of the most common questions that I get: "Why not use manual lenses instead?" I'll share what I'm using, how I'm using them, and my thoughts about getting autofocus or manual focus lenses.

If you're in the Philippines, check out where you can get these lenses:

Great video Kebs. Agree with the experience is easier with AF lenses. Reliable autofocus for me, helps in making sure I get the composition right rather than fiddling with the technicalities.

Alright what you just said made everything make sense in my brain at 8:13. I just bought my first ever camera the fuji X-E2 and i was researching what type of lens and I'm glad I came across your channel because that alone is going to help me decide on picking that route that you mentioned so i can learn to become better and improve on the Fuji triangle basics. My main goal was to shoot for product photography of fishing tackle up close but i also wanted to get into candid photography and just overall having a camera on me at all times that's not my phone one that can i can play with simulations and not have to edit in post. So i supposed an autofocus lens would help me develop the skills faster like you mentioned.

Ahhhh 🔥 Went out to shoot right after work, came home 10PM. Took a shower, a cup of coffee on the side, a Jamie Windsor and Sir Kebs vid. Sakto! 🔥👌🏼

yes i've been waiting weeks for a new video! when you shoot on manual mode with back button focus, do you disable shutter button focus? i always used manual focus on my canon because it was fun when i was out taking photos and not in a rush to be anywhere, but on fuji i have just been using auto because it is so fast and precise.

I'm a fan of yours. I have a question, which is better X-T200 or A6000. Thank you!

Hello Kebs. I have been watching your videos over the week. Amazing content. Just want to ask, cause i just recently shifted from nikon dslr to fujifilm mirrorless, i am now using an xt100 with 35 f2. What is the best autofocus mode to use for street photog? Thank you so much

That feeling when I realize he’s been using Fujifilm half as long as I have, but he’s way more skilled with the system

Unique idea for a video, and well executed! The graphics and dynamic captions aware great too.
I always love the look-up shot of the guy sweeping the glass roof 🤗
