This was @xxbludger's request for #ViddersUnited, which I'm super grateful for bc it's one of my fav relationships from the MCU, if not my favourite, but don't think I would've vidded it on my own.

but god this was a Struggle. I'm not used to vidding instrumental songs and while it's easier in some ways, like being able to place scenes wherever (since there are no lyrics to follow), it also meant when I got stuck, I got /stuck/ bc I didn't have the lyrics to give me any ideas. I honestly made a scene pack of all their scenes just so it'd be easier but it was no good lmao ended up going through all the transcripts and that saved my ass bc I finally found the quotes that I was missing to fill the gaps.

I always liked Nebula more than Gamora, even when we thought she was just a villain

Nebula is just like Loki if you think about it, appearing as villains, turn out to be good, team up with the good guys when they get a chance

Saw yesterday Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3... and man, this hits hard, what a perfect and sad at the same time ending (sad because its over), Nebula is a wonderful character developed, one of my favourites without a doubt

This reminds me so much of the relationship between my sister and I… She’s 5 years my senior, always was the favored child, always bested me in everything, has everything handed to her. She always had to be right and perfect. She was Gamora, except she wasn’t fighting for anything, she was just privileged and a snob. I was Nebula, the one who always felt the need to fight her, to try and prove I was just as god if not better, and I hated that I got treated like dirt while she was treated so well. And in all that time, all I wanted was a sister… Now she’s 55 and I’m 50. I still don’t have a sister even though I’ve expressed those exact same words as Nebula. It’s sad, really.
