It works. My file size was 5.5MB even after the use of compress option. But when I used advanced option then it becomes only 3.2MB.

Thank you. I was able to lower the resolution of the ppt as a whole but there was no way I could find to compress individual photos. There was no 'compress image' button. Is there another way to do this as my ppt is still too large!
