I have a theory. This game is meant to represent the mental health implications of lockdowns and quarantines, and the deep trauma in society post-pandemic. The main character is going through a period of mental decline, just like his friends and neighbors. Being on lockdown means no church, no movies, no hangouts, and no visiting your friends and families, and no attending their funerals caused people to go through the same mental health problems as the main character did. The game is mostly psychological, and everything we see is mostly hallucinations caused by his mental decline.

Alright so my theory for this game is that, the game infested your mind making you play the game, the circut braker never really went out but we were imagining it was. And that how the virus got us to go outside and catch it, after that every event was just hallucinations and we actually never left the apartament.
