I had a neighbor widen his driveway onto our property, he then went to sell the house and told me to quick claim the property to him, I told him he could pay for raw land, new survey and attorney fees, you “F” yourself was his answer. Well we went to court and it cost him the $6, 000 plus housing market dropped and he lost $80, 000 on the sale.

4:37 I remember a time when there was construction happening across the street from me and the builder decided to have 3 truck loads of gravel unloaded on my property. That afternoon and the following day I was using a backhoe to move the gravel to areas of my property that needed fill. On the 3rd day of the material sitting on my property, the builder called the police to report me for theft. Cops came and we discussed how the builder unloaded and left materials on my property. In the end, he had to have the material moved, restore my land to the way it was prior to and lost the materials I used. Cop said, "Possession is 9 10ths of the law and you left this material on his property for several days without asking. Nothing I can do.."
