Arizona & Texas Bark Scorpion Enclosure Build & STING!

Показать описание
Check out how I build my bioactive enclosures for the Arizona Bark Scorpion and the Texas or Striped Bark Scorpion. I use some amazing products from @TheBioDudeJoshHalter and @exoterratv

These Centruroides sculpturatus (once included in Centruroides exilicauda) and Centruroides vittatus communal enclosures turned out really well, but there was one MASSIVE FAIL at the end!

Richard this video is so cool, I hate that the algorithm seems to have ate it (and some of your other cool videos!)

Oh, Richard!! I do hope you're ok and the pain is gone by now! No one could fake the reaction you had!!!! The enclosures are awesome, as always 😁👩‍⚕🦂

Love the your set ups. I've raised arizona barks for a year now and find them very different than other species I've raised( very communal with mixed generations living together without cannibalism).

I *really* love these educational videos you’re doing recently. If there’s absolutely anything I could do to help with them, let me know. I’d love to be part of these. 💜🕷️

I really hope your alright and I do want to know about the sting you got from it, tho I prefer the texas striped bark since I had 8 adults and 2 under half size, they can be communal but not all like to be in the same spot, mine had paper egg carton and a piece of bark. make sure you got water for both with some rocks so they don't drown. They do need water. When their tail is down flat when still then their relaxed and calm, when their tail is up, their walking around or hunting. tail up and back their ready to strike. Good luck my friend!

It was nice to see how you ended up getting stung I was so curious after seeing your short. I really hope your hand is feeling better.❤

I know it is late, but with all of my exoterra enclosures, I switch out the backgrounds with the exoterra cork bark backgrounds. They fit pretty tight. I get a good sealant/adhesive bathroom calk to hold it in place, and have never had a feeder/invert get behind it, as well as a natural look to the enclosure.

Hey! Im a hobbyist who specializes in scorpions, just wanted to talk about that sting, I actually got stung by one of my specimens as well and I had a similar reaction 😂 pain lasted around and hour after my sting and was numb for 6 hours.

Bless your heart! I'm so glad you're "reasonably" ok from that. :( Poor guy! Please take care of yourself--you are precious! Though OMG, that Mayan background one! I love this! And I love how the substrate works in both of them.
