I had no idea this OST had roots all the way back to Season 2. I originally thought this OST was created specially for Levi vs Beast Titan. Sawano has a way with building upon already existing arrangements.

The title of the song makes so much sense when you look at Reiner and Eren's dynamic.

"Two lives"

Both of them different and somehow the same. Eren and Reiner are very similar in ways, it's unfortunate they were born on opposite sides, thus, "two lives".
