no country in the world suddenly wake up and start manufacturing high end phone. First basic component like casing, battery the mid level component like PCB, IC, speaker and then finally display, camera and processor. India have very good progress in this aspect. There are blackpill back**od and they always be. We can't do much about that.

The PLI scheme is good. The government should publish data on how much it is costing, which companies are receiving funds, how much money is being given, whether it could be better spent, how to improve it, when to stop the scheme, and how to focus on other initiatives.

One more detail, Iphone's metal casings will now also be manufactured in India by TATA and they have started buying machining machines for it. TATAs are putting this plant in Gujarat if i am not wrong. Please add this detail also and how much this would increase the value addition.

I know there are issues with the current government but we need them for another term to have all projects completed and industries established.

Some people will always try to undermine Indias achievements because of their political views. And others will try to hype. Relying on facts is the way to go, and facts here clearly show good progress from govt on this.
