Pixel has like what, 30W? Even Apple is catching up. But Google is still ignoring it. Just like they have been ignoring the notification delays in the name of battery savings. It's time to focus on these smaller things Google. The more I use an Android, the more problems that I uncover which all point towards battery optimizations being the main problem. Atleast I'd give Apple this - they optimise their shit better.
