Do you always want to find the perfect watermelon? Here I show you how you can recognize the perfect watermelon!

When you pick up a watermelon, I'm sure you always hope it's really nice and juicy and sweet. We all want to find the perfect watermelon, but somehow it's always a matter of luck, right? No! In this video, I'll tell you how to always find the perfect watermelon.

Because there are certain signs for it, which I will go into in this video.

First, look for the watermelon to have a light spot somewhere. This should be noticeably lighter to yellow. This means it has ripened long enough. Another sign of a well ripened watermelon is the stalk. This should be brown. If it is still green, then the watermelon was harvested too early.

Also, do the knock test. When you knock on the watermelon, it should sound hollow. Then it is filled with water and really juicy. And last but not least, you should press a little bit on the watermelon. It should be possible to push it in a little bit. But here I mean really very little.

If you pay attention to these things, you will find the perfect watermelon that is really sweet and juicy. Try it out but definitely once!

I've learned that the brown scratches on the melon is from the bees trying to drink nectar from the melon, and it's a sign that the melon is sweet. I always buys them and it's true🍉🐝❤️

That melon seems to be more pink than red ... I remember when watermelon was a really true red with black seeds ... those were always sweet & juicy.

Only part of what you said is true if The steam in is dry that means it’s been picked quite a while if the stem and is green that means it’s freshly picked that has nothing to do with how good the watermelon is

Good info--something else you may want to consider: get rid of that plastic cutting board. Every time you use it, you increase the amount of microplastic that comes into contact with your food. Microplastic is now in the dust we breathe! Try to keep plastic out of your environment whenever possible. Opt for a wooden cutting boar instead.
