The amount the glados model emotes in this cutscene astounds me to this day. That eye is doing so much it’s genuinely an achievement and the animators should be proud

I love the way you can tell this whole place is GlaDos. Like the way the panels almost shiver when she says “oh thank god you’re all right.” It’s these details that make Portal amazing. Also VALVE CANT COUNT TO THREE.

I love that when Caroline speaks through Glados her voice is soft, but when Glados deletes her from her brian Glados’ voice changes and becomes waaaay more monotone and low...

I don't think Caroline was deleted even thought she tried. She's Genetic life-form and disc operating system. Without Caroline she would be just disk operating system. I don't think she would have the same nature, character and voice if Caroline wasn't there.
