In the world of gospel music, few groups have touched hearts as deeply as The Nelons. Their harmonies, filled with faith and emotion, have resonated with fans for decades. But just two weeks ago, tragedy struck when a devastating plane crash claimed the lives of three beloved members of the Grammy-nominated band, leaving the gospel community in mourning. Despite this unimaginable loss, the last surviving member of The Nelons, Autumn Nelon Streetman, made a heartfelt announcement that the group’s final album will be released, a testament to their enduring legacy and unwavering faith.

"Before all of this happened, my family and I had just completed a brand-new album that was already supposed to be released at the end of this month," Autumn shared, her voice carrying the weight of recent events. This final project, titled Loving You, features 11 tracks, each imbued with the passion and spiritual depth that characterized The Nelons’ music. For Autumn, the album has taken on a profound significance, serving as both a tribute to her lost loved ones and a source of comfort in her grief.

One track, in particular, stands out to Autumn—"Hand of an Unseen God." Its poignant lyrics, "In my weeping and rejoicing, when my world is good or when it falls apart, I’m held by the hand of an unseen God," now echo the personal journey she never anticipated. "I had no idea I would be walking through those lyrics right now,” she reflected. Another song, "We've Always Had a Song," holds the distinction of being one of the last recordings made by her mother, Kelly Nelon Clark. Autumn believes that this album was crafted for such a time as this, offering solace and hope in the midst of heartache.

I think it would be wise and more respectful if you would learn how to pronounce the people’s names before you do a video. It is really disrespectful to those of us who love these dear people and their music that you mispronounce their names throughout this whole video. IMO it shows you really do not care about them. You are only wanting to sensationalize their tragic death and get clicks on your video. If you had done your research you would know their name is pronounced like: “knee-Lon” It is a long “e” sound!!

If you are not versed in knowing how to say their name, you are not versed in anything else about them. It amazes me just how many have ‘jumped on the band-wagon’ with these videos for views etc. Shame on you.
The Nelsons / Nellons / Nailons and ever other dreadful pronunciation I have heard is just downright disrespectful. Again, shame on you.

Thoughts & prayers to Autumn and other family members living through this utter nightmare.

Really....if you're going to do a report, you could at least learn HOW to pronounce their names! Should not take much effort.

The voice we hear is probably Artificial Intelligence. Maybe the reason it can’t pronounce their last name correctly.
