Chilling video shows members of the gospel group, The Nelons, moments before fatal plane crash

Three members of The Nelons, a gospel group from Georgia, were among seven people killed in a plane crash on July 26. A vlog, shared by The Nelons, captures members of the group moments before their Pilatus PC-12 broke up at 26,00 feet over Wyoming. Kelly Nelon Clark, her husband, Jason Clark, and their daughter Amber Kistler died in the crash.

Little did they know their pilot should not have been carrying passengers, since he wasn't qualified to fly in IFR when the auto-pilot clicked off. Most skilled pilots can fly a plane without an auto-pilot. Bad pilots can't. And yes, I am a pilot. And I could care less if my pilot is a nice guy or not. I only want him to be competent.

I just talked to a man in my Sunday School class who was going on that Gaither Alaskan cruise when this happened. He said everyone met in a room and the mood was so somber when they got the sad news !!

Celebrities don't realize that their very celebrity puts them at added risk because pilots often feel pressured to get them to their destination no matter what.

I liked the pilots shirt but I would prefer if he would have wore a pilot uniform. You might say this is insignificant but it would show you how seriously he takes significant job where the lives of people are in your hands. The pilots demeanor even from this short introduction seems a bit off.

This is why i refuse to get in a plane. IF something happens, you have no control over it. in a vehicle you can at least be paying attention and exit the road in a controlled fashion if need be. in a plane crash its almost never survivable

Everyone who flies private always says it's extremely safe, but there sure seem to be a lot of stories like this one.
