Hey Folks, do you know how to make your Android Phone awesome? Obviously, you do. By Customization. Or If you are an advanced user, by Rooting your phone and flashing Custom ROM, using Xposed Framework, etc.

If you ask me, “What’s that one thing that I can do to make my Android Phone more awesome?”, It would be hard for me to come up with one definitive answer. But I can tell you from where you can start.

In order to Roo t your phone or flash a custom ROM, you need to have a custom recovery installed on your device.
As the Stock Recovery that comes with your Android device, is very limited in terms of features. For instance, you cannot Root or Flash a Custom ROM using Stock Recovery.

And this is where third-party Recovery or Custom Recovery like TWRP comes handy. Apart from performing basic tasks, it lets you carry out advanced tasks like rooting, taking full backups, flashing ROMs and a whole lot more.

when I'm done, I pressed the recovery mode and it just booted and it just got back on fastboot mode

This doesn't work for devices that boot into recovery mode instead of fastboot mode. Is their a fix to this, I have a SM-J337P

I got a problem with my phone i think, when i connect my phone and run adb devices command it all work my device shows listed but when i get to bootloader mode using reboot bootloader, the device just disappears from the list and it gets disconnected, on using adb devices again no device shows up, brother please help me with that!

The process of installing TWRP in Samsung and few other devices is different from what you have in the video. People may end up bricking their phone. You should have said that in the video. Anyways Nice Video. 👍

This is one of the best tutorials I came across, but for whatever reason I can't get my device to show up in the power shell command prompt after getting it into fastboot and plugging it in. The computer has no issues detecting it as a proper device and the phone properly changed between media sharing, debugging mode, and the regular charging mode. It just won't detect it in fastboot. Hopefully I figure that one out.

when i type in Fastboot devices, it doesnt show any devices connected. i checked and it cant be the usb cable. what did you mean reinstall your drivers?
